Recently, GTR Tec has turned its attention to lithium ion batteries.  Lithium ion battery electrolytes contain flammable volatile organic compounds such as DMC, EMC, DEC, etc.  Accurate analysis of package barrier properties is thus a critical component of battery safety.  GTR Tec has developed systems for testing a wide variety of lithium ion battery configurations, and is now supplying both testing equipment and contract testing services.Tests can be performed on assembled batteries, or on packaging film samples.
